Brandon Lipford

  •      Brandon Lipford is a dedicated educator and community servant, as well as a proud husband, father, and resident of Oakwood Village.
In his career, Mr. Lipford has served as a high school music and entrepreneurship teacher, GED and academic remediation specialist, College Credit Plus advisor, program manager of an arts-based job readiness program for teens, community-based program facilitator, and non-profit director or development. He currently serves as Director of Arts Education at the historic Rainey Institute.
Mr. Lipford has a tremendous passion for empowering young people and extensive experience in youth development, program and curriculum design, classroom instruction, non-profit leadership, and faith-based initiatives. He is the founder of The Greater Expectations Intercontinental Sacred Arts Society—a sacred creativity non-profit, focused on the arts, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement—as well as LightBox Sacred Innovation Company, which designs innovative, faith-based products and solutions.
Mr. Lipford cares deeply about the future of our community, particularly as it relates to the educational and economic opportunities accessible to young people. As a Board of Education member, he hopes to help ensure the ongoing viability of such opportunities throughout the District, through promoting community-wide collaboration, student-centered decision making, the power of new ideas, and a culture of hard work, excellence, and student success.
